Early Intervention
The State's Birth to Three System is funded by a combination of federal and state
dollars, private insurance and family fees (based on gross income). Services provided
by TheraCare include but are not limited to evaluation and assessment, service coordination
and all other required services under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act such as family training and home visits by a variety of therapists
and educators, as well as applying various methodologies to meet the needs of our
autism population.
Our skilled professionals work in partnership with each family, and their primary
health care providers, to create an environment for enhancing their ability to meet
their child's individual needs.
TheraCare employs professionals with expertise in various teaching methods for children with developmental disabilities and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Applied Behavior Analysis/including Verbal behavior (ABA), the use of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) methods, Relationship-based approach (DIR) or a combination of one or more methods. The program is supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
TheraCare's teachers and clinicians receive intensive and ongoing training by our
full-time supervisory staff and full-time administrators support not only our program
but also the families we serve. All children are seen in their natural environment.
